We’re a charity with a simple goal: to make sure no one in our industry feels like suicide is the only way out.
At present the number of suicides within the UK construction industry is 507! That's 2 a day - and rising! There are many reasons for this, but the main one is that so many people simply won't talk about this pandemic.
Down to Earth Support
We’re bringing mental health advocacy down to earth. From site visits to one-on-one support, we’re here to listen when things get heavy. We’re more than just a charity; we’re a community making sure that "looking out for your mates" means more than just spotting them on a ladder.
The Main Issue

"Manning Up" isn't working
It’s no secret that our industry is a tough place to work, but the numbers are getting scary. With over 500 people in construction taking their own lives last year, it’s clear that "Manning Up" isn't working.

Silent Voices is a construction organization based in the UK, aimed at raising awareness of the shockingly high numbers of suicides within the construction industry.
